現在、アメリカ、イギリス、カナダ、オーストラリア、日本等世界２８ヶ国に普及し、 オリンピックをめざしている競技であり、国際スポーツ柔術協会本部はアメリカ 西バージニア州に本部を置いている.。
　日本においては、日本アマチュアサンボ連盟普及委員長、サブミッションアーツレスリング協会代表師範であり 創始者の、麻生秀孝が日本協会会長である。　理事長は、柔道の全日本選手を多く生み出している豊道館々長、 西村晴美（世界サンボ選手権大会　全日本監督）が要職に就いている｡　
　試合においては柔術着・帯を着用し、投げ技、パンチ､キック、抑え込み、関節（手、足有り）を認め、 ポイントとＫＯ、そしてギブアップによって勝負を決めている｡グランドでのパンチ、キックは無しとして セーフティーな柔術（ハードだが安全面に気を使っている。）を求めている。
　日本での大会は、現在年１回の柔術トーナメント、２年に１回の世界大会、 １年２〜３回の国際大会（世界各国）を開催し

　At present,The match called Sports Jujuts has been popularized to more than twenty eightcountries of the world.We aim it to become an event of Olympic.
　We place its head office at a state of West Virginia,America. In Japan, Hidetaka Aso is thepresident of Japan association who is a Master(called "Daihyou Shihan"in Japan) and anoriginator of Sabumission Arts Wrestling. The Chairman of Japan Sports Jujutsu association isHarumi Nishimura who is a Master of Houbukan and has been making many Judo players of thetop class in Japan.(He was also an observer of All Japan Team at World Sambo Fighting Match.)
　In our rules of fighting,We have to wear an uniform for Judo and an obi. We judge this fightingon KO,Give Up or Point by Punch,Kick,Osaekomi and attack on joints(including arm and leg)which are admitted. However,it is forbidden to do Punch and Kick in the ground. We aim it to besafety Jujutsu.
　In currently activity,Japan association has annual Japan Jujutsu tournament,and Worldassociation has International tournament in twice or three times per year and WorldChampionship tournament per 2years.
